From the moment I entered Luxor there was this amazing connection. I was not sure what I was experiencing, but it was powerful. Luxor is full of ancient 2 and 3-dimensional artwork. The temples and tombs are filled with the work of ancient craftsmen and artisans. It felt as if they were present or had just walked away from some of the hieroglyphs and preparatory sketches. The fading colors on some of the buildings, the vibrant city life, the clear skies and air, and the warmth of the sun inspires me. There is an ease in Luxor that is intoxicating and demands you to slow down and intake all that is around you. This piece is representative of all those things.
